President Ersin Tatar gave a reception to 300 World Health Tourism Delegates coming from 50 countries to attend the 6th World Health Tourism Forum and Conference.
According to the Presidential statement, President Ersin Tatar, in his speech at the reception, expressed his pleasure to welcome the World Health Tourism Delegates under the chairmanship of the President of the World Health Council, MP Ahmet Savaşan.
Stating that they came together at the World Health Tourism Forum and Conference in Bafra the other day, President Tatar expressed that he was very impressed that delegates from many countries of the world met in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and that tourism and health issues were discussed.
President Tatar stated that artificial intelligence as well as science and new technology systems were discussed at the conference and emphasized the importance of finding solutions to the health problems of mankind and improving the quality of life.
Pointing out that the current generation is very lucky to be able to benefit from many opportunities, President Tatar pointed out that treatment methods are improving and the recovery time is shortening, and noted that thanks to health tourism, while being treated in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, tourism opportunities will also be benefited from.
Tatar mentioned that during the Covid-19 Pandemic, hospitals were full and there was panic; he noted that the pandemic was overcome thanks to science, vaccines and healthcare workers, and thanked the country's doctors and healthcare workers.
Referring to the events in Gaza, President Tatar said, “Politics should be left behind. I feel sorry for what is happening in Gaza, God bless them. I call on humanity and the relevant authorities to stop what has been happening since last October.”.
Stating that there are people from many countries in the TRNC due to health tourism, President Tatar congratulated them for being a part of the family.
“This family will achieve success in the field of health and health tourism,” President Tatar said, noting that while being treated by exchanging knowledge and experience, tourism will also be benefited from and those who want to receive services will be provided with a better service by making use of science and technology.
President Tatar thanked the Chairman of the World Health Council MP Ahmet Savaşan for his work and made the following statements in his speech:

I am very happy for the rapprochement and the exchange of culture and knowledge. This organization will contribute to the fields of health and tourism as well as cultural exchange.”

Deputy Ahmet Savaşan, President of the World Health Council, expressed his pleasure to be hosted at the Presidency with the participation of delegates from more than 50 countries.
Ahmet Savaşan stated that he was honored to chair the World Health Tourism Council, which includes 56 countries between April 2023-2024, on behalf of the TRNC and thanked President Ersin Tatar for patronizing the World Health Tourism Forum.

Natalia Ciobanu, President of Health Tourism of Moldova, which won the presidency of the World Health Tourism term after TRNC, stated in her speech that they were very well hosted and hosted in TRNC.
